Laurie Furber Homework Week 1 I chose hard, transparent items for my still life because I thought it would be interesting to see the shapes layered against each other. I didn't anticipate the challenges the reflective surfaces would present, as I shot in natural light with a big open bay door reflecting on the glass. I shot in a daylight studio with white walls and a big bay door as the single source of light. I used a marble table as my surface, pulled about a foot away from a white wall.
